Hello! My name is Kimia and I am mini-IG mogul a.k.a a content creator and writer who specializes in food, travel, and lifestyle! I live and breathe for all types of crazy food & travel adventures and absolutely LOVE what I do! I am your ultimate go-to-girl for when you are lost for recommendations to a unique place - from offbeat and tantalizing eateries to hip, trendy shops and rooftop lounges to scenic beaches, I have just the perfect place in mind for you to venture to for your next outing.
When am not planning awesome adventures for people, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, attending special events around the city, and discovering all of the best places to eat, drink, and be merry at. My most favorite foods include: peanut butter, sweet potato fries, sushi, and dark chocolate. I also love red wine, gummy bears, hot yoga, hiking, reading, and of course, writing. You can follow my adventures on Instagram: @KimiasKravings or better yet, hop on my MYrago experience where we go Rooftop hopping through the hottest and most bespoke rooftops of NYC (of course, drinks WILL be included!) Now that you know a bit about me, here is my typical 'Day in the Life' Hope you enjoy!
8 AM: Wake up and seize the day. I try to steer away from the habit of checking my phone first thing in the morning to have a clear head prior to diving into anything (minus turning off my alarms and yes, I’m guilty of pressing the snooze button)
9 AM: Walk to work and pour myself cup of coffee accompanied by a peanut butter Perfect bar and plain Fage yogurt to keep myself satiated and energized. I could live off Perfect bars and anything with peanut butter has captured my heart.
10 AM: Conduct back to back meetings with potential clients - I like knocking this out in the morning when I’m at my peak sense of clarity and most energized state
12 PM: Run to Sweet Green for the ultimate bowl of goodness - I typically get a customized bowl with all of my favorites: kale base, quinoa, sweet potatoes, apples, beets, sprouts, cilantro, avocado, chickpeas, tofu, red pepper flakes, and almonds tossed in cucumber tahini..needless to say my salad weighs about 10 pounds but wouldn’t trade it for any other salad and eat it at my desk as I respond to e-mails - welcome to New York lunch breaks
1 PM: More meetings await along with answer more emails and banter with co-workers in between - emails can take anywhere between 2-3 hours to answer and they pertain to collaborations, influencer initiatives, press trips, press inquiries, new product launches, new restaurant openings, interviews, etc.
2 PM: Plug into ultimate work mode and finish administrative tasks while listening to beats that keep me going (Future, 21 Savage, Odesza, Yellow Claw, Ty Dolla $ign)
4 PM: Step into the lounge to take a tea break - I’m a huge advocate of green tea, almond milk, and honey - especially on super hectic days, it’s a sweet escape with the help of a hot cup of milky tea
6 PM: Get ready to leave work and head to an event - this is my typical evening which is my favorite part of the day
7 PM: Arrive at a press/media dinner, event, and will typically see some familiar faces and will always meet someone new. Every night is something different whether there is a huge launch for a new line of liquor, an over-the-top media dinner and culinary experience with other media folks, or a restaurant visit with a guest, the types of events I attend change everyday and love that I get to meet amazing people along the way and constantly in learning mode whether it’s about a new line of products, restaurant, etc.
9:30 PM: Head to the gym and work out for up to an hour - my workouts usually consist of 30-45 minutes of running on the treadmill followed by a 15 minute series of squats, ab, arm, and leg exercises mixed with some dancing in between to liven up the standard routine (no shame in my game dancing in front of the mirror in the weight room)
10:30 PM: Jump into the shower and get ready for bed and apply a facemask to unwind and rejuvenate my skin
11 PM: Draft a blog post and upload pictures, prep Instagram posts for the following week, plan weekend ahead for shoots and campaigns with brands and PR agencies
1 AM: I’ve always been more of a night owl so it’s a good night if I sleep before 2 am (which is rare)..and the cycle continues the next day and the next day but I live for the thrill of it
